Sun News Desk: Eight people have died and 692 others were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.
According to the report, a total of 692 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. Among them, 372 are residents of Dhaka and 320 are outside of Dhaka. The total number of dengue patients in various public and private hospitals in the country has reached 2,851 with 692 new patients.

A total of 213 people have died of dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
Noted that during the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died by dengue accorss the country.
