Sun News Desk: Bangladesh government has reported one Covid-19 death and at the same time, 124 cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Saturday October 22.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country is currently 29,412 and With the new infections, the total number of Coronavirus cases rose to 20,32,2 , the release added.

The new cases were found after testing 2,259 samples across the country in the last 24 hours.
During the period, 499Covid-19 patients have recovered from the illness. And the total number of recoveries now stands at 19,77,472 , said the release.

Noted that Bangladesh detected its first coronavirus patient on 8 March in 2020 and recorded its first death of the disease on 18 March that year.
