Sun News Desk: Bangladesh government has reported six Covid-19 deaths and at the same time, 351 cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Sunday October 16.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country is currently 29,401 and With the new infections, the total number of Coronavirus cases rose to 2,032,443, the release added.

The new cases were found after testing 5,988 samples across the country in the last 24 hours.

During the period, 620 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the illness. And the total number of recoveries now stands at 1,974,208, said the release.

Noted that Bangladesh detected its first coronavirus patient on 8 March in 2020 and recorded its first death of the disease on 18 March that year.
