Sun News Desk : A mother and her son were allegedly murdered by unidentified miscreants at their residence in Pabna on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Laboni Khatun, wife of Malaysian Expatriate Abdur Rashid of Dighulia village, and her son Riyad Hosen.

Failjana Union Parishad chairman Hafizur Rahman said locals found the body of the woman lying in the kitchen and her son’s body hanging from a tree and informed the matter to police.

He said the construction work of the victim’s house was going on. Locals suspected that miscreants might have entered the house for robbery and have killed Laboni and her son on Thursday night.

Md Selim Reza, Officer-in-charge of Chatmohar Police Station, said they recovered the bodies and sent those to Pabna General Hospital morgue. The detailed about the incident would be informed later.
