Kuwaiti actor died after receiving vaccine

International Desk: Kuwaiti actor Mishari Al-Balam died a few days after receiving the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine.He died 19 days after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.The actor received the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on February 11, had been admitted in the intensive care unit since Saturday and died on Thursday.

According to family sources, he has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber As-Saba Hospital in Kuwait since last Saturday. He finally died on Thursday (February 25).

The 48-year-old actor shared a video on social media Instagram on February 11 showing himself receiving the first dose of Pfizer-Biontech vaccine and urging his followers to get vaccinated as well.

However,he contracted corona and his health continued to deteriorate. He was quickly moved to the ICU of Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber As-Saba Hospital after a drop in his oxyzen level. But the infection ultimately leads to his demise reportedly due to hypoxemia.

Balam began his acting career in 1991 in Kuwait’s theatre circles, later on television and starred in more than 56 shows and series. He leaves behind his wife and five children.
