International Desk: The Saudi government has issued special instructions to prevent the spread of the corona virus. They say only 18- to 60-year-olds will be able to take part in the Hajj this year. And no one under 18 and over 60 can participate.
Okaz, a newspaper recently published from Saudi Arabia, has given this information quoting reliable sources.
Hajj participants must take a second dose of the corona vaccine at least a week before landing in Saudi Arabia, they said.
In addition, the negative report of the Covid-19 PCR test done 72 hours before landing in Saudi Arabia must be kept with the pilgrim and must be in quarantine for 72 hours after arriving in Saudi Arabia.
According to the country's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, each group will be consist of 100 people. A pilgrim will have to take PCR test and complete the quarantine after receiving a negative report.
Hajj and Hajj staff will wear separate badges during the Hajj according to the health protocol plan. The Saudi government has said that the distance between each other should be at least one and a half meters.
