Freelancers to be recognized: PM

Staff Reporter:

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, our youth is very big, so they can work abroad from home. They are already doing that and our Govt. has decided to recognize the freelancers.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing a function on the occasion of National Youth Day on Sunday (November 1).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "I have talked to Sajib Wazed Joy about this issue." Our ICT Ministry is working on that.

"I know freelancers have a problem," he said. Since there is no registration, no certificate, no recognition, many times many ask what do you do? If you say freelancers do not understand what is really the matter. No one may admit it. So I want to have a certificate in recognition of this work. '

The Prime Minister said, 'Someone may have done freelancing themselves, they have children. Taken to school admission, school will not admit. Good school. Why? There is no guarantee of what you earn. But he is earning two to three lakh rupees a month by freelancing. But he has no such recognition, his son does not want to admit his daughter. Such allegations have also come.

Mentioning that the youth have a role to play in building Sonar Bangla, the Prime Minister said, 'We will build the youth in the ideals of the father of the nation. This is the working age. When we Awami League came to power, we emphasized on creating employment.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister urged everyone to wear masks to be protected from the corona virus. He says you can't go anywhere without a mask. Everyone needs to be aware. Must be protected. Someone from abroad must see if there is corona in our country. He has to be kept in isolation.
