Staff Correspondent: State flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to resume flights to India after a seven-month hiatus following the Corona epidemic. Biman will operate regular flights to Kolkata from Sunday. This was stated in a press release issued by Biman on Saturday (October 31).
According to a Biman's website, Biman will operate regular flights to Kolkata, India from November 1. However, passengers will have to go through some procedures during travelling. Passengers will have to stay at home quarantine for 14 days at their own cost after going to India.
Besides, passengers have to leave Bangladesh after doing corona test. The Corona test and travel-related information will be available on the airline's website (www.biman-airlines.com), the authority said in a statement.
Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, flights with India have been suspended from March 12.
