Sun News Desk: Four people have died and 734 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Saturday.
According to the report, some 734 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. Among them, 468 are residents of Dhaka and 266 are outside of Dhaka. The total number of dengue patients in various public and private hospitals in the country has reached 2,889 with 734 new patients.

A total of 89 people have died of dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
Noted that during the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died by dengue accorss the country.
