Zero Covid death in 24 hrs

Sun News Desk: Bangladesh government has reported Zero Covid-19 death and at the same time 299 cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Saturday October 8.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country is currently 29,380 and With the new infections, the total number of Coronavirus cases rose to 20,29,314, the release added.

The new cases were found after testing 2,199 samples across the country in the last 24 hours.

During the period, 690 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the illness. And the total number of recoveries now stands at 19,69,344, said the release.

Noted that Bangladesh detected its first coronavirus patient on 8 March in 2020 and recorded its first death of the disease on 18 March that year.
