Staff Reporter: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Mohd. Shafiqul Islam has ordered members of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police to keep his eyes on the sculpters so that no one can destroy them. If necessary, the commissioner emphasized on providing security in white clothes and CCTV.

He gave these instructions at the DMP's monthly crime review meeting at the Rajarbagh Police Auditorium on Saturday (December 19) morning. Addressing the police officers present at the meeting, the commissioner said the second wave of Corona is going on all over the world. At this time, it is necessary to avoid public gatherings as much as possible and perform one's duties carefully. The two big festivals ahead are Christmas and Thirty First Night.

On the occasion of this festival, everyone has to fulfill their responsibilities with caution. Walid Hossain, deputy commissioner of the DMP media center, said Mirpur and Gulshan divisions were the first among the seven crime divisions of the DMP at the monthly crime review meeting last month. The Gulshan division has become the first among the 9 intelligence divisions. Traffic Lalbagh division has become the first among 6 traffic divisions.

In recognition of their good work, the DMP Commissioner awarded 75 officers of various ranks of the DMP. All the Additional Commissioners of Police, Joint Commissioners of Police and Deputy Commissioners of Police and other senior officers of Dhaka Metropolitan Police were present on the occasion.
