25 Killed in bus accident

International Desk : At least 25 people killed in a terrible bus accident earlier on Tuesday while going to a wedding ceremony in India. There were more than 40 passengers in the bus, Reports NDTV.

According to the police, the bus was going from Laldhang in Haridwar district to a marriage house. The accident happened on the way. The police of Dhumkot police station reached the spot after receiving the information.

Ashok Kumar, Uttarakhand Police Chief, told news agency ANI that 25 people were found dead in a bus accident that took place in Birkhal area of ​​Dhumkot yesterday (Tuesday) night. Police and SDRF rescued 21 people overnight. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

He further said that there were about 40 to 42 passengers including women and children in the bus. We are in constant communication with the Pauri police and the villagers. Besides, the state disaster management department has also been informed.
