The decision was taken after a meeting between Education Minister and the national advisory committee on COVID-19 on Thursday.
This information has been informed in a notification of the Ministry of Education.
The handout said that the students will continue taking online lessons until the in-person classes resume.
It said the decision was taken considering the health and overall safety of students, teachers, staff and parents, as the recent Covid 19 epidemic has been on the rise across the world, including Bangladesh.
Earlier, the government decided to open the educational institutions on March 30 but it revised the decision.The government had ordered all educational institutions to close on March 17 last year following an outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
