Staff Correspondent: The number of patients admitted to hospitals across the country, including the capital, is increasing due to dengue fever. In the last 24 hours, 29 more patients have been admitted to the hospital. So far, 507 dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital on November 28, the highest in the single month this year.
From January to November 28 this year, 1,134 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. About 45% of the total patients were admitted on the 28th day of the current month. However, 1,046 dengue patients have returned home after recovering from the treatment.

It is learned that out of the total 29 patients admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours, 11 were admitted to government and autonomous hospitals in the capital, 15 to private hospitals and clinics and three to Khulna division.
At present there are 88 dengue patients being treated in hospitals across the country. Of these, 72 are in government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 16 are in various hospitals outside Dhaka.
According to the monthly statistics from January 1 to November 28 this year, 199 people were infected in January, 45 in February, 27 in March, 25 in April, 10 in May, 20 in June, 23 in July, 68 in August, 47 in September, 163 in October and 507 in November.
In the last seven days, a total of 145 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. Of these, 124 were admitted to Dhaka Hospital and 21 outside Dhaka.
