In the last 24 hours, the number of infected people in the country has increased to 4 lakh 58 thousand 711 people with 2 thousand 273 newly identified people. The death toll rose to 6,544 with 20 more.

In the last one day, 2,223 more patients under treatment at home and hospital have recovered. With this, the total number of healthy patients has increased to 3 lakh 73 thousand 676 people.

The coronavirus outbreak in China began in December last year. It is currently spread across 213 countries and regions around the world. On March 11, the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global pandemic.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 8. The first news of his death came on March 18, 10 days later.
