Covid in Kushtia : 7 dead

Covid-19 has caused a rapid incline in the number of deaths and infected cases all over the country, and with its additional vaccine shortages, sent the country into a downwards spiral.

Following the crisis, 7 has been found dead in Kushtia in the last 24 hours, with 77 tested positive among the total 223 samples tested.

District Civil Surgeon Anwarul Islam has stated that the deceased had been undergoing treatment at Kushtia District Health Department.

Resident medical officer of the Corona Dedicated Kushtia General Hospital, Tapas Kumar informed that as of Saturday morning (9am), 200 patients have been admitted in the 250-bed unit dedicated to Covid patients.
