Ashaduzzaman, publicity secretary of the Dhaka Journalists Union (DUJ), a former student of the school, said, ‘Chan Mia Sir was a non-publicity teacher. He has long been the headmaster of the school with utmost honesty and dedication. In his time the school taught math and English to almost all sirs privately, but he was vehemently opposed to this work. Sir said, if the school is taught properly, then there is no need for private reading. Due to Sir's activities, the teachers could no longer teach privately in the school room. The sergeants who taught privately, in the end, taught privately at home or elsewhere. '
‘Respecting the other English teachers in the school, I would say that Chan Mia Sir’s English education was of a very high standard. Sir told me, if you have any problem, come to me when you have school holidays, I will teach you. That is why he will be immortal among us.
