Sun News Desk: Fifteen people were injured in a clash between activists of the ruling Awami League (AL) and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Sirajganj on Saturday.

The clash happened at Paikpara Bazar under Kaliaharipur union of the Sadar upazila around 11am.
Seven motorcycles were burnt and some shops were looted during clash.

Abdus Sabur Sheikh, Chairman of Kaliaharipur Union Parishad, said some10-15 people were injured after BNP in a planned way attacked on the peace rally organized by the AL.
Md Humayun Kabir, Officer-in-charge of Sirajganj Sadar Police Station, said a chase and counter chase between AL and BNP and motorcycle torching incident took place in the area. The situation is now under control.
