Sun News Desk : A court in Dhaka today sentenced 11 BNP leaders and activists to two and a half years in jail in a sabotage case in Dhaka.

They were also fined Tk 10,000 each, and failure to pay, they will have to serve 3 months more in prison.
The convicts are- Md Ataur Rahman, Helal Dali, Lalal Bepari, Babul Sheikh, Mofizur Rahman, Kazi Hazrat Ali, Md Zakir Hossain Bepari, Md Zakir Hossain Bagmar, Md Ershad Ali Khan, Md Maizul Islam Darji, and Md Ali Mia.

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin delivered the verdict on Sunday.
The case was, however, filed in September of 2018 for committing subversive acts in Bhatara area.
