Own Correspondent: 1549 women have bought forms in anticipation of Awami League's nomination for reserved seats in the 12th Parliament.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader gave this information in a press briefing at the party's central office located on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Thursday (February 8) at 5 pm.
The party has sold nomination forms worth Tk 7 crore 74 lakh 50 thousand on the occasion of reserved seat election. Awami League will nominate 48 out of 50 seats.

The sale of forms started from Tuesday (February 6) and will continue till Thursday (February 8) at 4 pm. On the last day, the party sold 217 nomination forms. On the contrary, he earned 1 crore 8 lakh 50 thousand taka.
810 forms were sold on the first day. Among them, 275 nomination forms were sold from Dhaka Division, 62 from Mymensingh Division, 149 from Chittagong Division, 26 from Sylhet Division, 56 from Barisal Division, 77 from Khulna Division, 75 from Rangpur Division and 90 from Rajshahi Division.

522 forms were sold on the second day. The total income from this is 2 crore 61 lakh taka. Among them, 167 nomination forms were sold from Dhaka Division, 47 from Mymensingh Division, 78 from Chittagong Division, 22 from Sylhet Division, 36 from Barisal Division, 68 from Khulna Division, 60 from Rangpur Division and 44 from Rajshahi Division.
