1 killed in landmine explosion

Sun News Desk : One person have been killed and another injured in the landmine explosion in Bandarban on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as is Md Rashed, 18 and Dulal, 35, both hailing from Chanua village at Banshkhali upazila in Chattogram.

Dr Abdullah Al Noman, Resident Medical Officer of Thanchi Upazila Health Complex, said BGB members brought two men injured in landmine explosion to the hospital at 12:20pm. Rashed died before reaching the hospital and Dulal was referred to Bandarban Sadar Hospital after giving him primary treatment.

Alamgir Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Ruma Police Station, said a police team was sent to the spot.
