Sun News Desk : Two people have been killed and three others wounded as a truck and a pickup van collided in Sylhet on Wednesday.

The deceased were- Nurul Islam, 45, and Sayad Ahmed, 35, residents of Helirai (Lutmail) village in the upazila.
Police said a truck and a cow-laden pickup van collided head-on and fell into a field beside the road in Katagong area around 12 noon, leaving two dead on the spot and three injured.

Jaintiapur Model Police Station officer in-charge Omar Faruk Moral said the injured were sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
