Sun News Desk : Two people have been killed and six others injured in a clash between two groups over carrom game in Kushtia on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Omar Ali, 65, and Miraj Sarder.
The injured were admitted to different local hospitals.

Eyewitness said a brawl took place between two groups when they were playing carrom around 9pm at Kantinagar area under Hatosh Haripur union of the upazila. At one stage of brawl, the two groups locked into clash which left at least eight injured. Of them, Omar and Miraj were injured critically and they were rushed to the Kushtia General Hospital.
But on arrival, the duo were declared dead.

Shahdat Hossain, Kushtia Model Police Station OC, said they were investigating the incident.
