Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in peace. We want to establish lasting peace in the world, said Foreign Minister Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen.

The foreign minister made the remarks at a function in the capital on Saturday (December 4th) morning. The Minister inaugurated the Art Camp on the occasion of the World Peace Conference at the Foreign Service Academy premises.

Abdul Momen said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in peace. That is why he has proposed culture of peace and human empowerment at the United Nations. That proposal has also been passed in the UN.

Incidentally, a two-day world peace conference is starting in Dhaka on Saturday. The President will inaugurate the conference virtually. Abdul Hamid. Representatives from 50 countries will take part in the conference at Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka. Of these, 59 delegates will attend. 40 delegates will take part in the virtual.
