Sun News Desk : A fire broke out in a private bank branch in old Dhaka's Gulistan area on Monday.

The fire started in Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd branch on the second floor of the building around 1:50am, said Fire Service duty officer Rashed Bin Khalid.
On information, five fire-fighting units from the nearby Siddique Bazar station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at about 2:10am.

The duty official also said the reason behind the blaze and damages caused by it could not be known yet.
