Sun News Desk : A female student found hanging at a Dhaka Medical College hostel in the capital on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Joya Kunda, 22. She was the student of MBBS fifth year of K-76 batch.

She was taken to the emergency department of the hospital around 10:45am where the on-duty doctors declared her dead after tests.

Partho Junda, who brought the stdeunt to the hospital, said "We found Joya hanging with a ceiling fan of her hall room with a piece of cloth. Later, rushed her to the hospital's emergency department."

DMCH police outpost in-charge Md Bachchu Miah said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
