Staff reporter : The government has appointed Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen as the new chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, ACC.

Besides, district and sessions judge (retd) Mia Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General (retd) Hafij Ahsan Farid have been made commissioners of the anti-graft body.
The Cabinet Division on Tuesday (December 10) issued a gazette notification in this regard.

Abdul Momen, who resigned as the senior secretary of the Public Security Division and Security Services Division on December 8, will receive the same salary, allowance, other benefits and rank of a judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.
