Sun News Desk : S M Nazia Sultana, a senior assistant secretary of the Commerce Ministry, died of dengue at a hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Nazia, who was eight months pregnant, breathed her last while undergoing treatment at BIRDEM hospital.
Haidar Ali, public relations officer of the Commerce Ministry, confirmed the news.

She was admitted to the hospital two days ago.
Meanwhile, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Nazia Sultana.
