International Desk: As no single party won in the national elections of Pakistan, there is a very heated situation regarding the formation of the government.
In the meantime, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which won the most seats, has called for protests, and Article 144 has been imposed in the capital Islamabad.

On Saturday (February 17), Pakistani news media Dawn reported that former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's party, PTI, has already announced the names of the rally venues in different places. However, Section 144 has been issued to prevent the party.
Islamabad Police says Section 144 has been imposed in the capital. Police have taken high alert across the city for security. This step has been taken as PTI has announced protests across the country.

The police also said that traffic may be increased near F9 Park at any time. The people there have been instructed to avoid unnecessary movement.
Besides, special force of counter terrorism department has been deployed to avoid any emergency situation. They continued patrolling.

Meanwhile, PTI took a dramatic decision in the turbulent situation after the election. PTI has alleged massive rigging in the recently held 16th national and provincial elections of the country. Independent candidates supported by the party won maximum 92 seats.
On Friday (February 16) night, they said their party would play the role of opposition party. At present party chairman Imran Khan is imprisoned in Adiala Jail. He is giving instructions to the team from there.
