Schools shut on Thursday

Sun News Desk : All secondary schools and colleges in the country will remain closed on Thursday due to the ongoing heatwave.

The decision was announced through a press release today (7 June).

It said the decision has taken considering the health and wellbeing of the students.

Earlier, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced the closure of all government primary schools from June 5 to June 8 due to the severe heatwave across the country.
