Russia's sentence in the dope scandal has been reduced from four years to two years, but the sentence will not end before December 16, 2022.

The world anti-doping organization Wada bans Russia for four years. Russia's Supreme Court on Thursday reduced the sentence to two years, despite Russia's Supreme Court ruling against it.

However, Russia will be able to participate in the Euro next year. And Russian athletes can prove themselves dope-free and compete in the Olympics or other international competitions under a neutral flag.
