West Indies' Bangladesh tour to be postponed

Sports Desk: The arrival of Caribbeans in Bangladesh has been delayed. The West Indies team will arrive in the second week of January, not January 8 to play the full series. Akram Khan, chairman of the BCB's cricket operations, said the delay was a week. At the same time, the Caribbeans will get the benefit of practicing during quarantine. Meanwhile, although the schedule has not been finalized, the names of Dhaka and Chittagong have been finalized as venues.

Following the latest developments in the security and cowardly situation in Bangladesh, the arrival of a two-member Caribbean team has begun to unravel the Tigers' return to international cricket. BCB is positive about the series even before the signal given by them. The plan has started. However, considering the overall situation, the tour is lagging behind. Not in the first week of January, the Undies will arrive in the second week.

The whole Caribbean team has to stay in quarantine according to the rules. But at that time they will get the benefit of practice. Although Sylhet is named as the venue with Dhaka, for now the board has moved away from that decision. The game will be played in Mirpur and Chittagong. But there is also bad news for the audience. The stadium will also have no spectators in this series.
