Staff reporter : Rain with thunder may occur in four parts of the country, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The organization said this in a weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9am on Friday (March 15).

According to the Meteorological Department, the extension of western low pressure is staying over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.

Besides, there may be rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder in one or two places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions on this day. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. Day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Office has predicted rainfall in different parts of the country tomorrow and Saturday. On this day, there may be rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder in one or two places of Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions.
