Obtained the doctorate degree of JnU Assistant Professor Mohammad Omar Faruq

Our representative,

Mr. Mohammad Omar Faruqu, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Jagannath University, has obtained his Ph.D.

The degree was approved at the 84th syndicate meeting held at Jagannath University on March 4 (Thursday).

Earlier, the reference was adopted at the 52nd Academic Council to be held on November 15 (Sunday).

The study was supervised by Professor and former Head of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Jagannath University, and now Pro Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Noor.

He started his career as a Lecturer in Business Administration at Daffodil International University in 2011 and then joined in the School of Business at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology the same year. Later Dr. Faruq joined Jagannath University in 2012 as a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.

It is noted that Dr. Faruq has 15 research articles that were published in various local and international journals.

Dr. Mohammad Omar Faruq is the second son of Mohammad Amin Ullah and Mst. Ambia Akter of Chatitla village in Nangalkot upazila of Cumilla district.

Dr. Faruq recalled the contribution of his parents and teachers behind this success. In particular, he expressed his gratitude to Professor Santi Narayan Ghosh of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka for guidance and contribution. He also thanked the authority of Jagannath University. He wished everyone blessings so that he could be an ideal teacher and researcher.
