'Obaidul Quader will be held responsible for Election Disruption'

Noakhali: Noakhali Basurhat Municipal Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader's younger brother Abdul Quader Mirza has said Obaidul Quader will have to be responsible if election is disrupted. Then to Election Commissioner Shahadat Hossain and later to DC-SP and Election Officer. ”

He said this at a staff meeting in Ward No. 2 of the municipal area on Tuesday (January 12) afternoon.

Addressing the party leaders and workers, Abdul Quader Mirza said, “There are various malpractices going on to make the vote controversial. Weapons have already been brought to the area. The conspirators are trying to disrupt the vote by killing someone from the Awami League-BNP or Jamaat and disturbing the peaceful atmosphere. Everyone has to be careful.

Abdul Quader Mirza said, “There is no need to show-down and arrogance ('aichali-baichali') in the center on the day of polling. Dont' show the attitude I am a leader. Rather try to find out how the voters can come to vote by voting for himself. If there is any problem, the leaders and workers will let me know without getting excited. I will judge it. ”

He further said, “They say I criticize them but they do not say that I always talk about the development and good achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. There are some leaders in our party who nominate candidates who do not get more than 16 votes in the constituency. Such malpractice must be stopped and it is possible by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. ”

He said, “If I had wanted to, I could have spoken to the microphone in my car during the election campaign, but I did not play the songs of the liberation war. Because every time I listen to this song, I am inspired by the spirit of the liberation war. ”
