No Opportunity to Lead the Opportunity Seekers: Information Minister

Staff Reporter: Awami League's joint general secretary and information minister, Hasan Mahmud said there is no opportunity to lead the opportunity seekers. He added, "Those who were by the side of the party and the people's leader in difficult times will come to the leadership. There is no opportunity to lead the opportunists. Those who have joined our party for the last 12 years with various motives have to be identified and expelled. ”

He was speaking as the chief guest at the tri-annual conference of Bogra's Dupchanchia Upazila Awami League online from his official residence on Mintu Road in the capital on Saturday (December 26).

Dr. Hasan said, “Bangladesh is moving forward at an indomitable pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu. Today we have surpassed Pakistan in all indicators of economic, human development, social - we have surpassed India in many indicators - those who cannot stand it are conspiring against the country today. ”

Regarding the tax, the Information Minister said, “The second wave of Corona has started and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is dealing with it very successfully. As you can see, Bangladesh's position in the subcontinent is at the top in a recent Bloomberg report on corona. And Bangladesh ranks 20th in the world in terms of Corona coping skills. ”

Bogra District Awami League President Mojibur Rahman Majnu inaugurated the conference under the chairmanship of Dupchanchia Upazila Awami League President Mizanur Rahman Khan Selim and General Secretary Alhaj Fazlul Haque. District Branch General Secretary Ragebul Ahsan Ripu delivered the keynote address.
