Narendra Modi at Jessoreswari Kali Mandir in Shyamnagar

Own Correspondent: Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Shyamnagar in Satkhira to visit the historic Jessoreshwari Kali Mandir. The helicopter carrying the Indian Prime Minister landed in Shyamnagar around 10 am on Saturday (March 26). Earlier, Modi left for Satkhira by helicopter after 9 am.

Indian premier has visited and worshiped at the 400 years old JessoreswariKali Mandir in Shyamnagar, Satkhira. At the same time he exchanged views with the people of the Hindu community.

Earlier, security measures have been increased in Satkhira ahead of the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All kinds of security measures have been taken in Ishwaripur village of Shyamnagar upazila.

From there, the Prime Minister of India left for Tungipara in Gopalganj at 10:50 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will welcome Modi at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Prime Minister of India will pay homage at the altar of Bangabandhu's mausoleum. At the end of the tribute turn, a sapling will be planted in the mausoleum complex.

After paying homage at Bangabandhu's mausoleum, Modi will go to Orakandi, the main pilgrimage center of Matuas in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj at 11:35 am. There he will worship at the Harichand temple. He will later speak to Matua representatives.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit on Friday (March 26th) morning at the invitation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted him at the airport. The Indian Prime Minister went directly to the National Memorial in Savar from the airport. After paying homage to the heroic martyrs, Narendra Modi went to the National Parade Ground in the afternoon. Later, in the presence of the two Prime Ministers, the Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Museum ,built in honor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mahatma Gandhi of India, was inaugurated at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka.
