Sun News Desk : A motorcyclist was killed when a truck hit the motorcycle in the capital's Panthapath on Monday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Eyewitnesses said when the bike rider reached in front of Bashundhara City Shopping Complex around 1am, a speedy truck hit the bike. Then the motorcyclist fell down from his vehicle and died on the scene.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
Mohammad Saiful Islam, Kalabagan Police Station OC, said police detained the the truck driver with his vehicle.
