Sun News Desk : A fire broke out at a market near Bangabazar of Barishal Plaza in the capital on Saturday.

Fire Service and Civil Defence control room official Rassel Farruque said a total of 14 firefighting units managed to bring the blaze under their control around 8:45am which started at 8:05am on the third floor of Barishal Plaza. Fire Service and Civil Defence control room official Rassel Farruque.
The reason behind the fire could not be known yet.

Meanwhile, On April 4, a massive fire broke out at the Bangabazar Market and it spread to some other nearby markets. More than 5,000 shops were burnt down in the blaze.
