Malek of health sentenced 15 years

Staff Correspondent: Abdul Malek alias Badal, Driver of the Dept. of Health issued a 15 year jail. Dhaka Additional Third Metropolitan Sessions Judge Rabiul Alam issued the verdict at noon on Monday (September 20).

Malek was produced in court from jail. Earlier on September 9, Malek claimed his innocence and expected justice from the court.

On September 8, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh transferred the case to the Third Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court in Dhaka for further disposal.

On the morning of September 20 last year, RAB-1 arrested driver Abdul Malek alias Driver Malek from Turag area of ​​the capital. A foreign pistol, a magazine, five rounds of ammunition, 1.5 lakh Bangladeshi counterfeit notes, a laptop and a mobile phone were recovered from him.
