Sun News Desk : Five members of a family were burnt in an explosion caused by gas line leakage in the capital's Juraine.

The blast incident happened at about 2am on Monday night.
The injured are identified as Md Atahar, 35, his wife Mukta Khatun, 30, daughter Afsana, 5, Mukta's father Md Altaf Shikder, 72, and mukta's mother Morjina Begum, 50. They are currently undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Md Mahbub, who brought the injured to the hospital, said "The explosion happened at the house named 'Mannan Master' in Solimullah Road from Titas gas line leakage around 2am. Thy were taken to the hospital at 3am."
Toriqul Islam, the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery resident doctor, said Atahar were admitted to the hospital with 50 per cent burns, Mukta with 45 per cent, Afsana with 25 per cent, Marjina with 5 per cent and Altaf with 2 per cent burns.

The doctor also said the condition of Atahar, his wife and child are critical.
