Six more BCL leaders expelled

Sun News Desk : Six more local leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League in Narsingdi have been temporarily expelled for post on Facebook to mourn the death of Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayeedi.

At the same time, their permanent expulsion has been recommended to the Central Committee.

This information was fiven in a press release signed by Narsingdi District Chhatra League president Ahsanul Islam and general secretary Shah Jalal Ahmed on Thursday.

The expelled are- Madhabdi Thana Chhatra League vice-president Sujan Bhuiyan, Palash Thana Chhatra League vice-president Nasim Miah, Sadar Upazila's Paikachar Union Chhatra League vice-president Shariful Islam, Manohardi's Krishnapur Union Chhatra League joint convener JS Junaid, Palash's Jinardi Union Chhatra League vice-president Hafizur Rahman and Belabo Upazila's Narayanpur Union Chhatra League joint convenor Sakib Ahmed.

It was learnt that after the death of Delawar Hossain Sayeedi, the expelled leaders expressed their condolence by sharing his pictures and news on their own Facebook IDs.

However, when the organization started criticizing the issue, they deleted the posts.
