Israeli forces attacked a food distribution center in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, killing one of its workers and wounding 22 others, the United Nations agency said.
Gaza's health ministry said five people were killed in Israeli airstrikes. But the Israeli military said it had killed the Hamas commander in a 'targeted strike'. Israel identified the dead man as Mohammed Abu Hasna.

Rafah is currently home to an estimated 1.5 million Palestinians, and a large number of these people have sought refuge in Rafah from other parts of Gaza to escape Israeli attacks.
