Sun News Desk: The date for the two phases Bishwa Ijtema, considered the second largest congregation of Muslims after Hajj, has been announced for the next year.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told the reporters after a meeting on Thursday.
Home Minister said that the first phase of Ijtema will be held from January 13 to 15 and the second phase from January 20 to 22 at Turag shore in accordance with health regulations.
The Minister also said that Bishwa Ijtema was not held in the last two years due to Corona. As the situation has improved, the Prime Minister has given instructions to conduct Ijtema in Tongir field on a short scale in 2023 maintaining with health regulations.

Asaduzzaman Khan said that the Ijtema will be held in two parts this time as well. Maulana Zubair Ahmad group will observe first Ijtema from January 13 to 15. The Ijtema of the second party, leader Maulana Wasiful Islam group, will be held from January 20 to 22.
