Factory Explosion in India, 11 Killed

International Desk: At least 11 people lost their lives in a firework factory explosion in Madhya Pradesh, India. About two hundred people were injured at this time.

The blast took place in Bairagarh area of ​​Harda district of the state on Tuesday (February 6).

The video shows multiple explosions in the illegal fireworks factory, followed by a fire.

According to the police and local authorities, more than two hundred people were working in the factory at the time of the explosion. It is feared that the number of casualties may increase. However, the exact cause of the explosion is not yet known.

Local fire brigade and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are still carrying out rescue operations at the spot. The condition of many of the rescued injured is said to be critical.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met the injured at Bhopal's Hamidiya Hospital and directed the administration to take all possible steps to ensure proper treatment for them.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his deep grief over the casualties in this terrible explosion. He also announced a grant of Rs 200,000 to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured from the National Relief Fund.
