Own Correspondent: A Bangladeshi named Shams Basar (43) has died in a road accident in Italy. 10 more people were injured in this incident in Italy.

The accident happened on Tuesday (February 6) at 6:30 am in Genoa, the capital of the country's Liguria region.

Emergency response teams have successfully rescued and transported the injured victims to the hospital. Among the injured is a Bangladeshi national, whose condition remains critical.

The deceased Basar is the son of Mohammad Jalal Basar of Azimpur, Uttara, Dhaka. He has a wife and a 5-year-old son in the country.

Consul Sabbir Ahmed of Milan Consulate Office (Labor) said that we have spoken to the family of Basar who died in the road accident. My deepest condolences to his family. After the necessary legal work is completed, appropriate measures will be taken to send the dead body to the country.
