Staff Reporter: In the last 24 hours, 30 more people have died due to Coronavirus in the country. The death toll stood at 7,509. 1181 new patients have been identified. A total of 5 lakh 11 thousand 261 people have been identified.

Besides, 1,245 people have recovered in 24 hours and 4,54,563 people have recovered so far. This information has been informed in the press release of the health department today.

It was further informed that 14,820 samples have been collected and 14,588 samples have been tested in 167 laboratories in the last 24 hours. So far 31 lakh 99 thousand 115 samples have been tested.

The detection rate in 24 hours is 8.10 percent. The recovery rate is 88.91 percent and the death rate is 1.47 percent. It is to be noted that the first corona patient was identified in Bangladesh on 8th March and the first to die after being infected with corona on 18th March.
