27 People Died in the Last 24 Hours

Sun News Desk: The names of 27 more people have been added to the list of consecutive deaths of Corona. The virus has killed 27 people across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths stood at 7,479. 932 people have been newly identified. In all, the number of victims stands at five lakh 10 thousand 80 people.

Monday (December 28) in the afternoon, the Additional Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. This information was given in a press release signed by Nasima Sultana.

It is said that in the last 24 hours, 1,357 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in different hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. So far, a total of four lakh 53 thousand 318 people have recovered. Samples have been collected and tested in 167 labs under government and private management across the country. Of these, 114 are RT-PCR labs, 24 are gene-experts and 29 are rapid antigens. In these labs 13 thousand 39 samples have been collected in 24 hours. A total of 12,6187 samples have been tested. So far 31 lakh 84 thousand 527 samples have been tested.

It was further informed that the rate of sample test in the last 24 hours is 7.39 percent. So far, the detection rate is 16.02 percent considering the sample test, the recovery rate is 88.87 percent considering the identified test and the mortality rate is 1.47 percent considering the identified test.

In the notification, Nasima Sultana said, out of 24 people killed in 24 hours, 23 were men and four were women. Among them there are 18 in Dhaka division and seven in Chittagong division. Besides, there are two each in Khulna and Rangpur divisions. Of these, 27 died at the hospital.

The age analysis of the dead showed that there were 18 people above 60 years of age, six people between 51 and 60 years of age, one person between 41 and 50 years of age and two people between 31 and 40 years of age.

He said 109 people have come to isolation in the last 24 hours and 341 people have been exempted from isolation. So far, 95,970 people have come for isolation. 84,356 people have taken clearance from isolation. At present there are 11,606 people in isolation.
