Staff reporter : Metro rail train services will be extended for an hour on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr from 16 Ramadan (Wednesday).

The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) authorities took the decision considering the Ramadan month.
The last train will depart Motijheel on Wednesday at 9:40pm and will leave Uttara station 9:20pm. There will be a 12-minute gap between each train.

A total of 184 trains are being providing services to the commuters in a day. From Wednesday 10 more trains will be added. Then, total 194 trains will ply.
The train services will remain closed on Eid day.
