Sun News Desk : The government has given in-principle approval to the draft law to transform the highly debated Digital Security Act (DSA)-2018. It will be transformed by the name 'Cyber Security Act-2023'.

Law Minister Anisul Huq on Monday morning said "The Digital Security Act' is being renamed. Its new name will be 'Cyber Security Act'. At the same time, changes are being made in many sections of the law."
He said the draft for transforming the DSA was placed in the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He also said the cabinet approved the draft in principle.
